Daphné Long sleeve performance jersey
Lightweight fabric with thin fleece inside made of 80% Polyamide and 20% Elastane. Adds warm in changeable condition in the spring and Autumn compared to a normal jersey. When the temperatur gets under 14-15 degrees I find it to cold unless you combine it with a gilet then it can be used in even lower temperaturs.
It has a nice tight racing fit helped by the high content of Elastane. It sits tight to you body in a pleasant fit. This jersey will not flap in the wind. It has a cycling specific cut which means that the front is short when standing up but give it the perfect lenght when riding the bike.
The waist and cuff bands is closing of tight and stays in place. There are made of a peforated High wicking blend. Well thought out because here you will often collect sweat because of the tight fit.

The back pockets design is with a normal size middle pocket and two side pockets that is a bit smaller in wide. It means that it has limited hold of items. The positive is that it looks great wearing because the pockets never bulge out on the side of you hips. This is also helped by the way they are sewen on the inside with an elastic support at the top. This keeps the pockets in place very nicely.
there’s two zipped pockets for valuables, though it’s not waterproof. great with two zipped pockets so small things like keys and money etc. can be stored seperately.
The main body of the jersey has breathable and lightweight fabric that has a surpricingly durability. On my first ride i was attacked by 4 dogs and one of them manage to bit me in the arm. But surpricinly even if I got a wound on the skin the fabric of the jersey was not penetrated. So Maybe it saved me from getting rabies or other nasty diseases.
The collar is high as it should be for colder riding
Adéle Thermal bib shorts.
Cafe du Cycliste winter bibshorts is beautifully constructed. The fabric is made from 49% polyamide, 35% Polyester and 16% elastomer and is really nice for a Thermal ‘Winter bib’. On the inside the fabric have a classic rubaix surface that keeps your tight, hips and behind warm. On the outside the surface has a nice texture that gives the Bibshorts their destintive look.
The high quality inset comes from CyTech or Elastic as they call them self these days. It is difficult to argue the quality of Cytechs inset they produce to my knowlegde some of the best inset on the market. Alligned perfectly in the Cafe du Cycliste winter bibshorts it does not disapoint.

The lenght of the bibs is really good not to short and not to long.Cut slightly longer than the Josefine summer bib shorts that tested last year (Link). The slightly added lenght is normal procedure for thermal bibshorts. To add To keep the understated look there is a little reflective fabric on the back of both legs. They come with a nice balanced Compression and fit and therefore feels comfortable to wear. The grippers is a shallow band of silicone witch do the job of keeping the bibs in place.
I would use them when the temperaturs is 16-17 degrees and combined with kneewarmers if the temperatur drops under 16 degrees. I tested the bibshorts on one the climbs to Etna. At the bottom it is 17 degrees but when you reach the top it is 10 degrees. In these changeable conditions the Cafe du Cycliste therma bibshorts helps you keep warm.
